August was a busy month for the future scientists, engineers and mathematicians of the Diocese of Rockville Centre!
During the week of August 17 – 21st nineteen students from St. Bridget/OLH school and a neighboring school, participated in a week long STEM Camp where they engaged in hands on projects and experiments that were both challenging and exciting. From identifying their DNA to planning and constructing a room design, students were invited to use their creativity and analytical skills which resulted in amazing projects.
On the final day of camp, parents and family members were invited to listen to student presentations and see examples of the projects our future scientists created with the guidance and support of their talented teachers.
Thank you to the teachers and administrators who helped to make this week of inquiry and exploration a huge success.
