St. Patrick, Huntington, Students Participate in Google Expedition
Students in St. Patrick's School in Huntington participated in a pilot of the new Google Expeditions on Friday, October 16. Google sent a representative to the school with the equipment needed for the day. Three classrooms used the goggles concurrently. Students from grades 3 - 8 will participate in the program using 3D glasses to explore places determined by their classroom teachers to support their curriculum as part of an overall lesson. Students will be able to turn and move to experience this virtual reality world. For example, students under water can turn and follow a fish 360 degrees.
