St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Students Head to Washington, D.C.
A little rain couldn’t stop the intrepid middle schoolers and chaperones at St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope School from enjoying two busy days in our nation’s capital! The trip included stops at the Smithsonian Institution’s Air and Space Museum, Mount Vernon, and many of the city’s historic monuments and memorials. Before heading home, the students toured the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the largest Catholic church in the Americas. Parish priest Father Jason celebrated Mass for the group in one of over 70 chapels in the Shrine.
