Our Lady of Lourdes Holds Chess Tournament for Students

Our Lady of Lourdes School in Malverne offers a Long Island Chess Nuts Club for students. The students in grades 3 and up learned how to play chess in the annual after school program and compete in a four-week tournament. Jack Hamm, a fifth grader, won the overall tournament and was undefeated. The club finished this week with an awards ceremony.
